Job summary

Aurora Health and Rehabiliation is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse (IPN) to lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program. The IPN will serve as practitioner, resource, consultant, educator and facilitator for all staff, driving infection prevention across the facility.

Requires RN or LPN license, current unencumbered nursing license, BLS/CPR, and Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license required in practicing state
• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the practicing state
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in nursing management and infection prevention control
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations and applicable professional standards.
• Prioritize Infection Prevention goals.
• Collaborate with Department managers and medical directors in implementing aspects of the Infection Prevention Program when requested.

Are you an experienced and assertive Nurse passionate about infection prevention and control? We are seeking a dynamic Infection Prevention Nurse (IPN) to join our team. As an IPN, you will be responsible for leading the Infection Prevention and Control Program. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including being a practitioner, resource, consultant, educator, and facilitator for all staff.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license required.
• Current, unencumbered nursing license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Must have Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
