Job summary

Hireology in Chattanooga seeks an experienced Infection Preventionist (IPN) to lead the Infection Prevention and Control Program. This role combines practitioner, consultant, educator and facilitator duties across all staff to uphold high infection control standards.

The IPN must have Certification in Infection Prevention and Control and an active nursing license, with BLS/CPR certification and prior nursing management experience. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, unencumbered nursing license in the practicing state.
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in nursing management and infection prevention control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility-wide Infection Prevention Control Program.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations, Administration (OSHA), APIC, AHOP, and other regulatory agencies.
• Prioritize Infection Prevention goals.
• Collaborate with Department managers and medical directors in implementing aspects of the Infection Prevention Program when requested or as needed.
