Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston is seeking an Infection Preventionist responsible for the daily implementation of infection prevention functions. This role includes conducting surveillance, implementing goals and policies, and supporting continuous improvement in infection practices.

The Infection Preventionist for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) sites is responsible for the day‑to‑day implementation of the Infection Prevention functions of SRH IC, one of the site teams of MGB Infection Control. The Infection Preventionist reports to the MGB Sr. Manager of Infection Control, RIBH. The role requires knowledge and experience in infection prevention and control principles and practice, the ability to make evidence‑based decisions, excellent problem‑solving skills, and strong written and oral communication skills. MGB is in an active change management environment; therefore, the Infection Preventionist must demonstrate flexibility and open‑mindedness as the position evolves.
Must be available to work in the case of a facility‑declared emergency. Must be available to assist during regulatory agency reviews. Must be available to work on site.
