Job summary

Allison Pointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an RN Infection Prevention/Wound Nurse to join our team. This role supports infection prevention programs, wound care coordination, and QAPI initiatives across the facility.

Responsibilities include evaluating resident care related to infections, collecting and analyzing data, educating staff, and reporting to leadership. Requires Indiana RN license and infection control training; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana/Compact RN license required.
• SNF experience preferred.
• Specialized training in infection prevention and control.
• Ability to teach and evaluate clinical performance.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates quality of resident care related to healthcare-associated infections.
• Collects, tracks and analyzes infection data.
• Presents infection data and recommends actions.
• Monitors staff compliance with infection prevention measures.
• Prepares and delivers staff education on infection prevention.
