Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, public health, safety, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management.
• Health and safety certifications (e.g., CIC, CHSP, CEPS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and workplace safety initiatives.
• Coordinate the hospital's Emergency Preparedness Program.
• Monitor CMS, CDC, OSHA, and accreditation standards for compliance.
• Conduct safety rounds, infection surveillance, and staff education.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Prepare for regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections.
