Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and directs the IPC program per policy and regulations.
• Ensures facility compliance with CDC, OSHA and local guidelines.
• Participates in government surveys and agency reviews.
• Monitors IPC practices and SOPs for exposure to body fluids.
• Makes rounds to review sanitation and isolation precautions.
• Reviews infectious disease reports with the DON to ensure aseptic techniques.
• Ensures proper disposal of infective and contaminated materials.
