Collingswood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse Director for a full-time role with a $7,000 sign-on bonus and an all-inclusive $120,000 annual compensation.

Leading infection prevention initiatives, you will monitor trends, educate staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with leadership to improve resident and staff safety. A nursing license, BLS, and a 1-year director-level IPC experience are required; CIC is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year minimum experience as Director of Infection Prevention
• Current nursing license in good standing
• BLS CPR certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing or related field
• Specialized infection prevention training completed
• CIC certification preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff

Responsibilities for an Infection Prevention Nurse:

• Identify, investigate, monitor, and report trends in healthcare-associated infections to support timely intervention and prevention strategies.

• Collaborate with facility leadership, clinical teams, and staff to implement and sustain effective infection prevention and control practices.

• Ensure ongoing compliance with all infection prevention and control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate infection control initiatives to reduce risk and improve resident and staff safety.

• Provide staff with education and training on infection prevention practices to ensure awareness and adherence to established protocols.

• Participate in the facility’s Quality Assessment and Assurance (QAA) committee to support continuous improvement efforts.

• Conduct surveillance activities, audits, and assessments to monitor infection control effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Serve as a resource and subject-matter expert on infection prevention guidance across the organization.

Qualifications for an Infection Prevention Nurse:

• 1 Year Experience Minimum as a Director of Infection Prevention

• Current nursing license in good standing.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Associate degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field required.

• Completion of specialized training in infection prevention and control is required.

• Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) preferred.

• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement corrective actions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to educate and influence staff at all levels.
