Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an Infection Control Preventionist.
• RN/LVN/LPN license or higher nursing license.
• Certified infection control program completed; CIC certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds to identify and address areas of concern
• Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
• Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices
• Identify and report potential risks and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper infection control practices are followed
• Monitor and report infection rates and trends
• Maintain accurate records and reports
