Job summary

CFG Health Systems, LLC is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to lead and coordinate surveillance, guidance, and education within a correctional environment. You will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the Infection Control Program, follow nursing protocols, and work with clinicians and security staff to protect inmate and staff health.

Qualifications

• RN license required (NJ)
• Experience in infection control essential
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the Infection Control Program for the facility.
• Perform surveillance to identify, investigate infections and trigger control measures.
• Collaborate with clinicians, security and administrative staff to ensure safety and privacy.
• Maintain infection control records and databases with real-time data.
• Update policies, conduct in-services and staff education on infection control.
• Monitor compliance with infection control procedures, med handling and safety protocols.
