Job summary

Brella in Los Angeles is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to focus on infants and toddlers within our play-based curriculum. You will collaborate with co-teachers to plan, implement, and adapt daily activities that support development and engagement.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with families, and adherence to California licensing requirements. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for growth and a caregiver-centered culture at Brella.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma and 12 ECE units including 3 infant care units (Licensing).
• At least 12+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must meet California Department of Social Services / Licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and loving environment for children in collaboration with co-teachers.
• Model empathy through respect, response, and gentle guidance.
• Engage children with age-appropriate, stimulating, and thoughtful materials.
• Plan and implement Brella curriculum and adapt daily accordingly per age group and interests.
• Keep the classroom safe by following procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate and communicate respectfully with coworkers to maintain positive relationships and center culture.
• Communicate effectively with families during drop off/pick ups and provide curriculum and development updates.
