Job summary

Children’s Lighthouse of Chantilly is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule in Chantilly, VA. You will care for infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, nap supervision, safety, and loving routines.

We offer a warm, structured environment with emphasis on safety, emotional connection, and teamwork. Prior infant/toddler childcare and Virginia background checks are required; CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Prior infant/toddler childcare experience required.
• Must meet Virginia childcare employment requirements, including background checks.
• CPR/First Aid preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow health, safety, supervision, and sanitation procedures every day.

Responsibilities

• Daily care for infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, naps.
• Maintain safe, supervised classroom environment.
• Support music, sensory play, language development, and motor activities.
• Communicate daily notes on meals, naps, mood, and needs.
• Support classroom ratios and teamwork.
