Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in Glastonbury, CT to support infants and toddlers at Village Place Center. This full-time role offers opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost, with on-going mentorship from early education experts.

You will design hands-on activities, communicate with families about daily milestones, and uphold safe, clean classrooms following Bright Horizons’ guidelines. In-person work at the Glastonbury site is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• College-level early education course work or CDA is required
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
