Job summary

Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation is seeking an Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant in Bolivar. The role supports three classrooms, assists with caregiving, and collaborates with staff to deliver nurturing, developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.

The position is part-time with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., offering benefits such as PTO, holidays, and insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) college credit hours or Infant/Toddler CDA.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Willingness to obtain Early Childhood Development Specialization Certification (Ozarks Tech) paid by employer.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operations in three Early Head Start classrooms.
• Assist with providing responsive care and supervision to infants and toddlers.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and routines.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
