Job summary

Learn And Play Montessori School in Pleasant Hill is seeking a full‑time teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn and grow using our Montessori + STEM curriculum. As part of the team, you’ll partner with families and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement while delivering meaningful activities each day.

Required: 12 core ECE units with infant/toddler coursework, CDA credential, strong customer service, multitasking ability, and

Qualifications

• 12 core ECE units and infant/toddler coursework completed.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours and meet state criteria.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your success by collaborating with center staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners
• Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM curriculum in line with each child’s needs

Pay Range: $23.00- $29.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time
