You will also help classroom aides develop their skills toward becoming a Celebree Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool‑aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves through play.
• Integrate language‑rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
• Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child’s development.

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing state agency.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and an understanding of childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom, demonstrating strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem‑solving skills. Must also demonstrate patience and flexibility.
