Job summary

Learn And Play Montessori Schools in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks dedicated teachers to nurture children through a Montessori + STEM™ based curriculum that promotes social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, partner with parents, and collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement, while building meaningful relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• 12 core ECE Units & Infant/toddler course completed.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, growth and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
• Implement Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
