Job summary

Catholic Charities Jacksonville is looking for a full-time ELC Teacher to nurture a warm and developmental environment for infants and toddlers. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement educational programs that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical skills, ensuring safety and developmentally appropriate practices.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma and experience in a childcare setting. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential, as well as adherence to required training and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing preferred.
• Prior experience in a childcare setting preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check before employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a culturally sensitive educational program.
• Conduct daily health checks on each child.
• Attend assigned parent meetings and report on children's progress.
