The Goddard School in Ashburn, VA is seeking a professional Lead Teacher for our Infant/Toddler classroom. This is not a babysitting role; we are a premium early childhood program with high standards for care, safety, curriculum, and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with infants or toddlers in licensed childcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Infant/Toddler classroom with ownership of routines, structure, and environment.
• Create a calm, safe classroom aligned with developmental needs.
• Maintain positive classroom management and guidance techniques.
• Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Observe and document each child×s milestones and adapt activities as needed.
• Communicate updates to families with clarity and professionalism.
