Overview

Harmony Early Learning is seeking a compassionate, nurturing, and reliable Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants (ages 6 weeks to 36 months) and a deep understanding of early childhood development. As an assistant teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher to create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where infants can explore, grow, and develop foundational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, loving care to infants in accordance with licensing regulations and center policies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
  • Communicate daily with parents about their child’s activities, needs, and development through written reports or verbal updates.
  • Collaborate with other staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
