Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring an Infant Teacher to guide and nurture young children in our caring daycare setting. You will manage the infant room, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and partner with families to support each child’s growth and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ infant experience preferred; minimum 1 year in daycare.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; must meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage infant classroom with a safe, loving, nurturing environment.
• Model responsive and compassionate care while building trust with infants.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum with age-appropriate activities promoting early communication and development.
• Plan engaging activities through play, movement, music, and sensory experiences.
• Support infants in reaching developmental milestones like tummy time, crawling, and language.
• Maintain feeding, diapering, and sleep routines per care plans and safety guidelines.
• Ensure a clean, sanitized, organized classroom with high health standards.
• Create a warm atmosphere where infants feel safe, loved, and curious.
• Communicate with parents via app and in person about daily updates.
• Collaborate with teachers and center leadership for a positive classroom environment.
• Build relationships with families and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
