Job summary

Upstate Children's Center of Walhalla, Inc. in Walhalla, SC is seeking a dedicated Infant Care Teacher to join our family-owned daycare.

You will provide care, supervise children, communicate with families, plan activities, and maintain a safe, organized classroom while meeting state requirements. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; a high school diploma or GED and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Must pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision to children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the daycare.
• Plan engaging and educational activities.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Ability to lift and carry a child up to 40 pounds and fulfill other physical requirements.
