Early Learning Indiana, Inc in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Classroom Teacher. The role requires an active CDA credential or higher in Early Childhood Education and an Associates Degree or higher in ECE.

You will plan engaging lessons, collaborate with staff, observe child development, build strong relationships, and maintain a safe environment. The position offers hourly pay of $18.15–$21.00 plus competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth through TEACH

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or higher in Early Childhood Education.
• Associates degree in ECE or higher preferred.
• 1+ years of experience leading an early childhood classroom.
• 2+ years of working with young children.
• Knowledge of developmental best practices in early childhood education.

Responsabilités

• Plan and facilitate developmentally-appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum and ToTaL.
• Collaborate with Classroom Support Professionals to enact lesson plans through engaging play-based learning.
• Complete child development observations via Teaching Strategies.
• Establish warm, responsive relationships with each child.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment adhering to state licensing rules.
• Communicate regularly with families about each child’s day.
