Job summary

FIT’NG is seeking full-time Research Assistants for NYU Langone's Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Assistants will work with Dr. Courtney Filippi on research examining anxiety risk through neural correlates. The role includes participant recruitment, data collection, and supervising undergraduates.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Flexible scheduling is essential, and position begins Fall 2026 with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with children in a research context is preferred.
• Experience with EEG is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Involve in recruitment and retention of participants.
• Schedule visits and collect EEG and MRI data.
• Supervise undergraduate researchers and ensure data quality.
