Job summary

Jovie of Chicago is seeking a warm, nurturing, and dependable full-time nanny for an infant in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, starting January 4, 2027, with a friendly dog at home. The caregiver will partner closely with parents to provide safe, engaging care.

Responsibilities include following routines, bottle prep, nursery upkeep, diapering, and engaging the baby in developmentally appropriate activities, with regular updates to parents.

Qualifications

• Experience with infants preferred.
• Ability to follow established routines.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, loving care for the infant throughout the day.
• Following feeding, sleeping, and daily care routines.
• Preparing bottles and cleaning bottles and related dishes.
• Maintaining the baby’s nursery, belongings, and play areas.
• Completing diaper changes and other infant care tasks.
• Engaging the baby in tummy time, reading, singing, and play.
• Supporting healthy sleep habits and naps.
• Observing and communicating changes in routines and development.
• Providing parents with daily updates on day, milestones, and activities.
