Job summary

The Learning Experience Meridian is seeking a nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team. You will co-lead an Infant classroom with a focus on safe routines and individualized care for babies, while supporting development across cognitive, physical, and social-emotional domains.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Infant/daycare experience strongly preferred.
• Infant classroom experience preferred.
• CDA or ECE coursework or related credentials are a plus.
• Comfortable with feeding, diapering, safe sleep and individualized routines.
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative.
• Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead daily routines in a safe and nurturing Infant classroom.
• Provide attentive, responsive care throughout the day.
• Support individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and care schedules.
• Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences.
• Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development.
• Follow appropriate safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety practices.
• Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation.
• Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families.
• Collaborate closely with your co-teacher and center leadership.
• Follow Idaho childcare licensing requirements.

Infant Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Meridian, ID

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team.

Working alongside another Lead Teacher, you'll help create a warm, responsive Infant classroom where babies feel safe, secure, and supported. Through individualized care, sensory exploration, movement, and meaningful interactions, you'll support our youngest learners through important developmental milestones.
