Bay Country Learning Center and Highland Playschool in Maryland is seeking experienced infant lead teachers to nurture early development and growth. You will encourage intellectual, social, emotional, and physical progress in our youngest learners, in a patient and creative environment.

Ideal candidates bring caregiving warmth, reliable communication with families, and the ability to collaborate with a co-teacher to support milestones.

Formación

• Experience as daycare assistant teacher or babysitter/nanny with an infant teaching certificate (90 hours).
• Strong understanding of child development or enthusiastic learning.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.

Responsabilidades

• Confidently plan activities that are developmentally appropriate.
• Support in facilitating an engaging daily and weekly schedule.
• Provide basic care, love and caregiving activities.
• Support co-teacher in evaluating infants to ensure milestones are reached.
• Communicate with parents about children’s activities via Brightwheel and in person.
• Do all duties with love.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and energetic infant lead Teachers to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, social / emotional, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Confidently Plan activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Support in the facilitation of an engaging daily and weekly schedule
• Always Provide basic care, Love and caregiving activities
• Support your co-teacher in Evaluating infants to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Effectively and Professionally Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities via Brightwheel and in person
• DO all of the above with LOVE

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a daycare Assistant Teacher or as a babysitter/nanny and hold a 90 hour certificate in infant teaching
• Strong understanding of child development or an enthusiastic interest in learning
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified; or willingness to become certified
