Job summary

Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in New York State is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher to join our caring early childhood education team. You’ll nurture infants, support development, and collaborate with teachers to create a safe, engaging classroom where curiosity thrives and families feel connected.

Responsibilities include designing developmentally appropriate activities, mentoring assistants, documenting progress for families, and ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, or active CDA required.
• Minimum of 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education (required by NYS OCFS).
• 2+ years of experience working with infants in a licensed program.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants
• Foster a warm, responsive, and safe classroom environment
• Lead and support assistant teachers
• Communicate daily with families about their child’s care and development
• Ensure compliance with all OCFS regulations and center policies

Skills
