Job summary

Bright Horizons Teacher in Vienna, VA area, full-time position for infants. Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm. Bright Horizons supports pursuing a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will create hands-on activities, maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones, keep classrooms safe and clean, and provide coverage across centers as needed. Candidates must pass background checks, have a high school diploma or GED, and have some experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and Bright Horizons background checks.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• College coursework in early childhood education or CDA preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests.
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Provide teaching coverage across centers or nearby locations as needed.
