Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking enthusiastic assistant teachers to support lead teachers in childcare classrooms. Full-time and part-time roles available, with responsibilities across infant to older classrooms and a focus on safety and warm interactions.

You will plan daily activities, communicate with families, support hygiene routines, and help maintain a well-organized classroom. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered, with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high energy and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Able to collaborate effectively with Lead Teacher and other staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills to support classroom activities.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate expectations.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
• Supervise activities and help ensure student safety.
• Provide input for bi-annual assessments of children's development.
• Maintain daily open communication with families.
• Help children establish good personal hygiene habits and assist with toilet training.
• Maintain a neat and organized classroom.
