Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is hiring a full-time Teacher for our infant program in Chicago, IL. You will create engaging hands-on activities, communicate milestones to families, and ensure a safe classroom environment in compliance with Bright Horizons policies.

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a HS diploma or GED.
• ECE coursework or CDA or related degree preferred.
• 1 year of teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.
• IL Teacher Qualified requirements include: 60/90 credits with related coursework, 1 year of development experience, and CDA credential.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities for children.
• Maintain open communication with parents about milestones.
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements per state regulations.
