Job summary

Little Explorers Early Childhood Education & Care seeks an Infant Teacher to join our team, delivering warm, responsive care and partnering with the Lead Teacher to support routines and curriculum implementation.

This role emphasizes attachment, developmentally appropriate practice, and strong communication with families, with opportunities for professional growth in a supportive center environment in Danvers, MA.

Qualifications

• MA EEC Teacher certification (Infant/Toddler)
• Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
• Must pass state and company required background checks.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Teacher or strong assistant ready to step into a teacher role.
• Experience with inquiry based, Reggio-inspired, or play based learning (required)
• Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times a day.
• Must be able to stand, lift, sit, run and move around most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive care that supports secure attachment and emotional development.
• Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate, sensory-rich experiences
• Maintain consistent routines that support feeding, sleeping, diapering, and daily care needs
• Observe and document infant development to support individualized care
• Maintain a calm, safe and clean classroom environment
• Communicate respectfully with families through daily updates
• Ensure constant communication supervision and compliance with Massachusetts EEC health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with Lead Teacher and center staff
