Job summary

The role requires a CTC Teacher Permit and pediatric First Aid/CPR certification as mandated by state licensing, with Spanish language skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• CTC Teacher Permit required.
• Solid knowledge of California licensing requirements and industry best practices.
• Obtain and maintain Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR as required by California State Licensing.
• Spanish language skills desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement diverse, age-appropriate activities aligned with NBCC philosophies and best practices.
• Ensure safe, healthy classroom environments per NBCC and licensing standards.
• Collaborate collegially with teaching team and supervisors; respond to feedback.
• Maintain classroom records and daily activity documentation.
• Attend staff development days and regular meetings.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to parents during conferences.
