Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a Neonatal or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• At least 1 year of NICU RN experience.
• Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Current New York State RN and NP license.
• BCLS and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide NICU NP care in the Infant Cardiac ICU in collaboration with neonatologists and pediatric cardiologists.
• Educate colleagues and Ivy League students, and engage in the APN Council to improve workflow, patient experience, timeliness, quality and safety.
• Contribute to high-quality outcomes for newborns with congenital heart disease and participate in ongoing professional development.
