Job summary

The Goddard School in New Jersey is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. The role runs 1:00-5:30 pm on weekdays, focusing on a safe, nurturing environment and developmentally appropriate activities for infants.

You will work closely with the lead teacher and our staff to maintain classroom ratios and engage children. Experience with young children is required, along with empathy and dependability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with young children is a must.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling and safety.

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development.
