Strong Start Early Care & Education is seeking an Infant assistant teacher in Shelton, CT, to support our high-quality early childhood program. This full-time, in-person position offers growth within a curriculum-driven environment and opportunities to engage with families and children daily.

You will assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, while collaborating with educators to meet CT early learning standards and NAEYC expectations.

Qualifications

• Infant care experience; 1 year required.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with CT early learning standards.
• Communicate with parents via casual discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Adhere to center policies, state regulations, and NAEYC policies.
• Assist daycare teachers in curriculum planning.
