Job summary

The Goddard School of West Chester is seeking an Infant Resource Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role you will assist with planning, supervising, and delivering nurturing activities across classrooms, while supporting the Lead and Assistant Teachers.

You will help create a safe, engaging environment for infants and their families, communicate progress to parents, and participate in ongoing professional development. No evenings or weekends required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Provide flexible classroom coverage and assistance throughout the school.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain classroom materials and learning centers.
• Ensure the safety, well‑being, and supervision of children both indoors and outdoors.
• Foster a warm, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all children.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding classroom activities and children's progress.
