Job summary

Gymboree Play & Music - The Woodlands is looking for an enthusiastic Infant and Toddler Teacher to facilitate parent-child interactive activities for children aged newborn to five years. As a teacher, you will engage children and caregivers through various fun activities, including songs, movement, and instruments.

This part-time position offers flexible schedules with classes held on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Ideal candidates will have experience with young children and will embody qualities such as creativity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children newborn to 5 years preferred.
• Strong group leadership skills and customer service orientation.
• Creative and enthusiastic team player.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities.
• Engage children and caregivers through songs and movement.
• Teach a minimum of two birthday parties per month.

What you will do as a Gymboree Play & Music Teacher

• Facilitate parent-child interactive activities
• Engage children and caregivers through songs, movement, instruments, bubbles, and parachute activities.
• Age appropriate play activities
• Teach a minimum of two birthday parties per month
• Lesson plan according to Gymboree Play & Music curriculum
• Be responsible for knowing and achieving sales goals
• Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls, greet and service customers
• Assist families with enrolling in classes, parties, and special events
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming play environment
