Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an Industry 4.0 Automation Specialist to lead automation initiatives across ES-A manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing roadmaps, and delivering automation projects with EHS compliance and strategic impact.

You will collaborate with plants, manage a portfolio of initiatives, and mentor technical resources while driving capital projects and technology playbooks across the Americas region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automating manufacturing processes.

• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC; El Paso, TX or Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities.
• Work with plants to develop automation roadmaps.
• Develop project scopes of work and specifications.
• Assist plants in the development of RFQ packages.
• Assist plants in the development of automation business cases.
• Manage portfolio of automation projects.
• Deploy automation solutions for ES-A plants.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements (MESH 8.0).
• Develop and deploy technology playbook standards.
• Drive capital project planning and execution.
• Train and mentor technical resources within ES-A.
