Job summary

Venturi Supply is seeking an experienced Welder to join our expanding team in Decatur, GA. You will fabricate components and assemblies from engineered prints using MIG, flux core, and TIG welding, while reading blueprints and maintaining quality within tight tolerances.

This full-time role requires 1+ year welding experience, certification in GMAW or FCAW, and the ability to work in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GMAW or FCAW ASME IX certification required; GTAW ASME IX preferred.
• 1+ year MIG or Flux Core welding experience; TIG a plus.
• 1+ year experience with welding/fabrication tools (saws, grinders, torches).
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform fabrication math.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset.
• Physical requirement: lift/push/pull 50 lbs.; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to fabricate components and assemblies.
• Read blueprints and drawings to build fabrications.
• Lay out and fit up components with tight tolerances.
• Weld in various positions (manual or semi-automatic); NDE exposure possible.
• Visually inspect welds and repair as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
