U.S. Pipe in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Welder to join our Maintenance team in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting. The Welder will fabricate and repair machine equipment, process piping, and structural components using multiple welding processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience as a certified welder in industrial settings, proficiency with blueprints, and can perform out-of-position stick welding, with both shop and field experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 4 years’ experience as a certified welder in an industrial setting: Plant Maintenance, Mill, or Power Plant Shutdown/New Construction.
• Certified Welder: AWS D1.1 Structural 1” Plate 3G/4G [unlimited thickness] bend or Xray.

Mansioni

• Maintenance repair of industrial manufacturing equipment inside/outside plant, as needed.
• Fabrication of industrial equipment, in shop, as needed.
• Working from fabrication drawings
• Multi-process welding experience GMAW/FCAW/SMAW/GTAW, brazing, cutting torch, plasma, carbon arc, band saw.
• Structural steel repair, fabrication, modification as needed
• Process piping, Hydraulic piping, Fit and Weld, as needed
