Zusammenfassung

SA Recycling is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our maintenance team and repair a metal recycling shredder and other equipment. You will interpret blueprints, perform precision welding, and ensure structural integrity in a hands-on outdoor environment.

The role involves working outside in varying weather, following all health, safety, and environmental standards, with full-time benefits and opportunities for bonuses. 


Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; graduation from a trade school preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in welding processes such as MIG, stick, and torch welding on a variety of materials.
• Recycling industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform a full range of complex skilled welding and fabrication duties for a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to determine layout and procedures.
• Layout and fit-up of structural components including platforms, stairs, supports, columns, beams, stiffeners, etc.
• Use a variety of welding and fabricating equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working area/shop.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform all tasks within SA Recycling’s safety and environmental practices and procedures.
