Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an Industrial Water Pursuit Manager to lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across multiple locations, including Fort Myers, FL. The role focuses on preparing, assembling, reviewing, and submitting proposals with low to medium risk profiles, coordinating with sales and project leadership to craft compelling value propositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience.
• Onboarding requirements may include background checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, review, and submit responses to RFPs in accordance with governance.
• Handle small to medium scope proposals with low to medium risk profiles.
• Collaborate with sales, project director, and project manager to set strategy and schedule.
• Develop project execution plan and value proposition/win strategies.
• Ensure enabling teams deliver per proposal development schedule.
• Monitor pursuit team expenditures against budgets.
• Support risk determination/mitigation and leadership approvals.
• Assist in negotiations as requested.
• Transition proposal basis information to the project execution team after contract signature.
