Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our East-Central Water Team. The role leads planning, design, and construction for private/industrial water clients, with opportunities to support municipal projects.

Location is flexible with teleworking options and a pathway to advance within a growing practice. Ideal candidates have a PE license, 8+ years of consulting experience, and a strong background in process mechanical designs, water/wastewater unit

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, or related field.
Professional Engineer license is required.
Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience with industrial water and wastewater clients.
Experience delivering industrial and municipal planning and design projects.
Knowledge of process mechanical designs and water/wastewater unit processes; master planning and condition assessments.
Willingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary tools.
Experience mentoring and coaching other engineers.
Experience managing deliverables to scope, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and construction projects for local and national private/industrial water clients.
Manage teams of engineers and staff; serve as key client representative.
Shape organizational strategy and deliver innovative water solutions.
Support both municipal and industrial water projects with career growth opportunities.
