Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation is a well-established and diverse water and wastewater utility organization.

The Industrial Group operates treatment plants for clients across the United States, and the onsite team is responsible for monitoring processes, adjusting controls, performing laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, replenishing chemicals, and ensuring good housekeeping. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Wastewater Operator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to read plans/specifications.
• Experience in an industrial setting and health & safety training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data interpretation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the daily operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment facility.
• Operates equipment and monitors process controls and lab tests.
• Maintains logs of operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensures compliance with permit requirements and safety protocols.
• May operate facilities with PLC controls and adjust chemical feeds.
