Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a full-time Utility Worker in Laporte, Indiana. This role requires basic reading of PC/AI documents, ability to operate a walk-behind equipment, and collaboration within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will support dewaxing, alloy cutting, molding, and oven processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. The job emphasizes teamwork, willingness to work overtime, and adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• WORKKEYS tests are REQUIRED to be considered for this position. Testing will be conducted at the La Porte WorkOne office...
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access.

Responsibilities

• Use the computer for lot tracing.
• Able to operate a Walk Behind.
• Must be able to work and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
• Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
• Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
• Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to:EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the LaPorte Employee Guidebook.
• Work overtime as needed.
• A fulltime Utility Worker will be able to proficiently perform a minimum of 3 of the following:
• Dewaxing Molds
• CuttingAlloy
• Material Cutter
• Mold Wrappers
• Oven Pushers
• Chamber Loaders
