Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking a Utility Specialist to maintain water and tank cleaning while complying with RCRA disposal, DOT regulations, and HAZWOPER standards.

You will oversee trash removal, CSA operations, and monitor vacuum trucks during spills, with responsibilities for ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the site. The role includes directing staff, handling site waste shipments, operating a forklift/flatbed, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Education - no minimum education requirements.
• Experience - 2 years.
• Certifications/Licenses: TWIC Card and valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintain trash route for trash truck throughout facility.
• Monitor and maintain facility rain outfalls.
• Direct the Containers Storage Area (CSA).
• Monitor vacuum trucks with chemical and water, including oil spills and sums.
• Daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance of machinery/equipment.
• Support tank cleaning during spills.
• Shipping and transportation of site waste.
• Direct staff and collect time sheets for up to 10 direct reports.
• Comply with quality policies, specifications and regulations.
• Operate Forklift and Flatbed Truck.
• Other duties as assigned.
