Job summary

Continental ContiTech is seeking an Industrial Products Territory Sales Manager to develop new business and increase market share in Alabama and Tennessee. You will work with Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network to educate and train distributors and end-users on engineered product lines and services, aiming to grow revenue and profitability.

Travel up to 50% is required, with residence within the AL/TN territory preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years sales experience, or 4 years if no degree.
• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience conducting presentations and customer meetings.
• Experience in training customers and end users.
• Ability to use/learn CRM systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Residence within the Territory preferred (AL/TN).
• Willing to travel 50% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business partnerships with distributors and end-users in the industrial sector to meet growth objectives.
• Promote and sell engineered products, programs & services through Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network.
• Train distributors and end-users on new products and product applications.
• Develop and implement a plan to regularly meet with customers and secure new distributor/end-user business.
• Participate in industry trade shows to promote products and services.
• Regular use of Salesforce.com and data tools to drive territory performance.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry standards.
• Inspect conveyor systems and plant equipment in manufacturing environments to offer value-added solutions.
• Travel approximately 50% with overnight stays.
