Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions in Florence, SC is seeking an Industrial Tire Press Technician to safely mount and dismount tires using a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press Machine. You will service Commercial, OTR, Agriculture, and Forestry tires and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.

The role requires 1+ years in a similar position, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. Travel up to 75% may be required to support customers and company locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable to drive by company standards.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• DOT Medical Certification (required).
• Commercial and OTR TIA Certification needed after six months.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer equipment safely according to OSHA standards.
• Mount/dismount various tires using a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press.
• Perform Commercial, OTR, Agriculture, and Forestry tire service as needed.
• Execute tire repairs with plugs and plug-patch methods.
• Travel up to 75% of the time to customer and company locations.

Qualifications

• Responsible for the proper and safe handling of customer equipment according to OSHA Standards
• Mount/dismount various sizes/types of industrial tires, utilizing a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press Machine
• Conduct Commercial, OTR, Agriculture, and Forestry service work, as needed
• Perform different tire repairs with plugs and plug patch combos
• May be required to travel 75% of the time geographically to customer and company locations

Skills And Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and high level of attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols and company policies
• Ability to work a rotating, on call schedule to include nights and weekend shifts
• Pass background check and drug screen
