Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is actively seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to lead ground-up industrial and commercial projects across Southern California. You will manage site operations from mobilization through turnover, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence on large-scale developments.

The role requires extensive field leadership, strong communication with PMs and engineers, and a proven track record in tilt-up, foundations, and building systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial/general contracting.
• Strong background in ground-up industrial or warehouse construction.
• Experience managing projects from sitework through final turnover.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and keeping aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on ground-up industrial and commercial projects from mobilization through completion.
• Manage all phases of construction, including sitework, foundations, tilt-up, steel, building systems, and turnover.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules; coordinate trade sequencing and milestones.
• Direct subcontractors and field personnel while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate material deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor activities to keep projects moving.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and ownership to resolve field issues and keep schedules.
• Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control reviews.
• Manage RFIs, field docs, daily reports, and progress updates.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and constructability challenges early.

About the Opportunity

We are actively recruiting experienced Construction Superintendents for established general contractors throughout Southern California specializing in ground-up industrial construction, concrete tilt-up, distribution centers, warehouses, and large-scale commercial developments.

These opportunities are based in San Diego and the Inland Empire, offering the chance to lead substantial ground-up projects with established builders and strong Southern California project pipelines.

We are seeking hands‑on field leaders who know how to take a project from initial sitework and foundations through vertical construction, inspections, and final turnover. Ideal candidates have experience managing subcontractors, maintaining aggressive construction schedules, and delivering industrial projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on ground-up industrial and commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.
• Manage all phases of construction, including sitework, foundations, concrete tilt-up, structural steel, building systems, and final turnover.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinate trade sequencing, and ensure critical project milestones are met.
• Direct subcontractors, foremen, and field personnel while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, inspections, and subcontractor activities to keep projects moving.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, architects, and ownership to resolve field issues and maintain project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety meetings, and quality control reviews.
• Manage RFIs, field documentation, daily reports, and construction progress updates.
• Proactively identify scheduling conflicts, constructability challenges, and potential project delays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong background in ground-up industrial, concrete tilt-up, warehouse, or distribution center construction.
• Experience managing projects from initial sitework through final completion.
• Thorough understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Experience managing multiple trades and maintaining demanding construction schedules.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software preferred.
