Whirlwind Steel Buildings and Components is seeking a Spray Painter to apply primers and finishing coats to machines and products, ensuring quality and safety. You will prepare surfaces, mix colors, and operate spray equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with overhead cranes and forklifts, and strict adherence to safety. A collaborative, detail-oriented team player is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must pass a pulmonary fit test.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
• Industrial painting experience and safety practices.
• Able to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Clean surfaces by removing grease, dirt, and contaminants.
• Select and mix coating liquids to match colors and specifications.
• Pour coating liquids into spray containers, connect spray guns and adjust settings.
• Apply primers and finishing coats to ensure even coverage and quality finish.
• Remove rust from metal surfaces using grinders or brushes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate overhead cranes and monorail paint hoists to position items for painting.
